Nancy C Gehrke

Nancy Clara Gehrke, 82, of Marysville, died Tuesday, April 9, 2024.

She was born March, 25, 1942 in Detroit to the late Otto and Gemma Marlia. She married Larry Gehrke on July 13, 1963 in Detroit.

Nancy loved children and helped watch friends and neighbor’s kids so their parents could work. She was the best baker in the whole world and recently became a Yahtzee enthusiast.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Larry; three daughters, Theresa Gehrke, Michelle (Russell) Pierson and Amy Gehrke; a grandson, Max Pierson; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by four siblings, Roy Marlia, Geraldine Massey, Nettie Shaver and Richard Marlia; and a baby boy Gehrke.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 2, 2024 in St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, St. Clair Shores.
