Kevin Gene Withun, 56, of Kimball Township, passed away on Saturday, April 13, 2024.
He was born March 2, 1968 in Port Huron to Beverly and the late Gerald Withun.
Kevin was a hard worker and was employed with A-1 Trombley Sod Farms for 20 years prior to losing fingers to Buerger’s disease. He enjoyed playing golf, scratch off lottery tickets, feeding the birds, and gardening and planting flowers for his mother. He loved going to University of Michigan football games and also watching the Detroit Lions. Despite being a very private person, Kevin was a kind and loving man who would do anything for his mother, Beverly. She will miss their special late-night conversations about life. He will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his mother and step-father, Beverly and Ron Angbrandt; brothers, Bruce Withun and Shane Wlodarczyk; sister, Kimberly Findley Gorr; niece, Paige Richards; nephew, Brandon Bair; and great nieces, Navala and Oaklee, who he had a special bond with. He was preceded in death by his father, Gerald Withun; and his longtime canine companion, Shadow.
Visitation will be 2-5 p.m. on Thursday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 19, 2024 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. Dr. Joseph Baunoch will officiate.
Burial will be in Lynn Township Cemetery, Capac. Honorary pallbearers will be Bruce Withun, Shane Wlodarczyk, Kimberly Findley Gorr, Brandon Bair and Brian Richards.
