Henry Earl Witherspoon Jr., 50, of Port Huron Township, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 13, 2024.
He was born September 27, 1973 in Port Huron to Leila and Henry Earl Witherspoon Sr.
Henry graduated from Port Huron High School, class of 1992. He was employed as a machine operator with US Farathane for many years. Henry loved going to family get togethers, playing cornhole and listening to music. He was loved by many and will be deeply missed.
He leaves to mourn his passing his parents, Henry and Leila; siblings, Darlene (Malcolm) Kennedy, David Williams Sr. and Tina Witherspoon; niece, Charneika (Norman) Witherspoon; nephews, Vaughn (Michelle) Hicks Jr. and David Williams Jr.; three great nieces, Kassidy, Bella and Delilah; two great nephews, Carter and NaVi; aunts, Lois Turnbow, Shirley (David) Lymon, Robbie Norman, Marjorie Studway, Christine Norman and Mary Haskins; uncle, John (Gail) Norman; great uncle, K.C. Norman; special cousins, Steven Witherspoon, Brandon Witherspoon and Shane Johnson; and a host of cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Mattie Norman and James and Minnie Witherspoon; and two aunts and three uncles.
Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, April 19, 2024 in Restoration Christian Community Church with visitation beginning at 11:00 a.m. The Reverend David Nichols will officiate.
Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery, Port Huron. Pallbearers will be David Williams Sr., Malcolm Kennedy, Steven Witherspoon, Brandon Witherspoon, Vaughn Hicks Jr. and Shane Johnson. Honorary pallbearers will be Norman Davis, Derrick Witherspoon and Jay Norman.
