Leila M Johnson

Leila Mae Johnson, 80, of Marysville, passed away peacefully with family by her side on Thursday, April 18, 2024.

She was born September 1, 1943 in St. Clair to the late Shirley and Bertha Johnson.

Leila previously owned Johnson Miller Furniture. She loved fishing, crafting, restoring antiques, the thrill of the casino, and the precious moments shared with both her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter, Ann (Bill) Henry; six grandchildren, Jennifer (Robert) Kononowech, Kimberly Henry (Conrad Hawk), Nicholas Henry, April (Don) Lee, Bobbie (Bill) Ziehm and Sarah (Russell) Barnes; several great grandchildren; sister, Olive Hartman; sister-in-law, Peggy Johnson; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Stephen Marks; two brothers, Robert and William “Duke” Johnson; and brother-in-law, Bryan Hartman.

Visitation will be from 1-3 and 5-7 p.m. Monday, April 22, 2024 in the Marysville Funeral Home.

Funeral services will follow at 7:00 p.m. in the Marysville Funeral Home. The Reverend Joseph Gagnon will officiate.

Burial will be in Kinney Cemetery, Clyde Township at a later date.
