Delores M Dowding

Delores Margaret Dowding, 91, of Marysville, died Tuesday, April 23, 2024.

She was born May 3, 1932 in Port Huron to the late Herbert and Margaret Schultz. She married James “Keith” Dowding on September 10, 1955 in Port Huron. He preceded her in death on March 5, 2006.

Delores graduated from Port Huron High School and then was employed with Detroit Edison prior to raising her children. Over the years she worked for DeLacy Real Estate, was an election worker, and finally a branch manager with E&A Credit Union. She was a member of the Mercy Hospital Auxiliary and the former All Saints Episcopal Church.

She is survived by two sons, James Keith (Doreen) Dowding and Michael Dowding; granddaughter, Jennifer Dowding; and her granddog, Dudley. She was preceded in death by her brother, Donald Schultz.

A memorial service will be held in July.

Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery, Port Huron.
