Richard Nathan Sullivan, 92, of Kimball Township, died Monday, May 6, 2024.

He was born April 29, 1932 in Columbus Township to the late Willie and Irene Sullivan. He married Ruth Elaine Harmon on April 18, 1953 in Sparlingville. She preceded him in death on October 30, 2010 after 57 years of marriage.

Richard worked most of his life as a farmer. He was a long-time member of First Baptist Church of Goodells and former member of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows. He joined St. Clair County 4-H as a child and remained involved throughout his life, eventually serving on the Council for several years.

He is survived by his children, Elizabeth (Francis) Richmond, Sandra Sullivan, Patrick Sullivan, Tina (Ken) Ptach and Corey (Jennie) Sullivan Sr.; 22 grandchildren and several great grandchildren; siblings, Isabelle Kotzke, Harry Sullivan, Carl Sullivan, Ervine Sullivan, Imogene Mosher, William Sullivan and Robert Sullivan; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two sons, Richard and Kelly Sullivan; a daughter, Juanita Bolthouse; three grandchildren; and siblings, Betty Sullivan, Violet Watson, Thomas Sullivan, Jane Siler, Charlie Sullivan, Darrel Sullivan, Gerald Sullivan and George Sullivan.

Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, May 8, 2024 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 9, 2024 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. Pastor Matthew Crow will officiate.

Burial will be in Caswell Cemetery, Kimball Township.
