Thomas L Harris

Thomas Lee Harris, 90, of Port Huron, died Tuesday, May 14, 2024.

He was born December 28, 1933, in Port Huron to the late Loretta and James Harris Sr. He married Dorothy Kaercher on February 13, 1965, in Mount Clemens.

Thomas worked as a tool and die maker and a pipefitter at Mueller Brass for 31 years before becoming a self-employed plumber. He enjoyed fishing, restoring his 1936 Ford Sedan Delivery, and supporting his beloved Red Wings. Thomas served in the U.S. Army with the 82nd Airborne during the Korean War.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 59 years, Dorothy; two daughters, Michelle Harris and Pam Corey (Neal); grandchildren, Logan and Brayden Corey. He was also known as "Uncle Butch" to many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Joyce Krenke, Donald, James, George Harris, his niece Cathy, nephews Eric, Robert, and Jerry, and his grandson Matthew.

Private family services will be held.
