Ronald W Radatz
Ronald William Radatz, 77, of St. Clair Township, died Thursday, May 30, 2024.
He was born December 29, 1946 in Port Huron to the late Theodore “Pete” and Ethel Radatz.
Ronald was a 1965 graduate of Marysville High School and served in the U.S. Air Force. He was employed with Chrysler Corporation prior to his retirement. He was a member of the Marysville American Legion J. Edward Mallorey Post #449 and the Legion Riders, who affectionately called him “Burl”. He was a member and Past Exalted Ruler of B.P.O.E. Lodge #343. His retirement included spending time in Arizona, riding his motorcycle and puttering around the house. He enjoyed watching his favorite shows on TV and his family knew not to call while 60 Minutes was on.
He is survived by three children, Marilyn Radatz, Richard Radatz and Joseph (Theresa) Radatz; nine grandchildren, Joseph II, Cassie, Hannah, Thomas, Grace, Rebekah, Theo, David, and Samuel; a nephew, Michael (Heather) Radatz; and a niece, Jodi (Rodney) Tracey. He was preceded in death by a brother, Edward Radatz, and a sister, Barbara Clough.
Visitation will be 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday in the Marysville Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 5, 2024 in the Marysville Funeral Home. Shaun Laurain will officiate.
Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Fort Gratiot. Military honors will be conducted under the auspices of the U.S. Air Force and the St. Clair County Allied Veterans Honor Guard.
