Lorraine Caryl, 94, of Fort Gratiot, died Friday, June 14, 2024.
She was born November 29, 1929 in Port Huron to the late Donald and Pearl McDonald. She married Fred Caryl on February 15, 1947 in Port Huron. He preceded her in death on September 9, 1999 after 52 years of marriage.
Peggy loved bowling, camping, playing Bingo and cards. She especially enjoyed being with her family.
She is survived by three children, Fred (Mary) Caryl, Judy (John) Armstrong and Pam (David) Reno; daughter-in-law, Karen Caryl; 15 grandchildren; several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Donna Hyslop; brother, Jerry (Annie) Zeller; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three sons, Alex, Steve and Terry Caryl.
Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday, June 21, 2024 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 4:00 p.m. Dr. Joseph Baunoch will officiate. Friends and family may view the livestream of the service by visiting Lorraine’s obituary page on the funeral home website.
Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery, Port Huron.
