Jeffery J Hills

Jeffery John Hills, 59, of East China, died Sunday, June 16, 2024.

He was born September 5, 1964 in Port Huron to Eugene “Butch” and the late Shirley Hills.

Jeffery attended Woodland Schools for 24 years and was employed with the ARC, working various positions. He was an honorary member of the Port Huron Elks Lodge 343 and carried his card proudly. Jeffery also participated in the Special Olympics, winning several medals in basketball.

He is survived by his father, Eugene “Butch” Hills and step-mother of 30 years, Judith; brother, Rick Hills; special aunt and uncle, Jaylene and Bob Ashton; several other aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews; and step-siblings, Lee (Christy) Tremp and Dr. Stacey (Andrew Moore) Tremp. He was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Hills, brothers, Tim and Roger Hills; grandparents, John and Helen Hills, Robert and Mary Ashton, and bonus grandmother, Rose Mary Hamilton; and special uncle, Patrick Hills.

Visitation will be held from 2-8 p.m. on Thursday, June 20, 2024 in the Marysville Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, June 21, 2024 in the Marysville Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 9:30 a.m. Deacon Dennis Crimmins will officiate.

Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery, Port Huron Township. Memorial contributions may be made to the Port Huron Elks Lodge 343 for their special needs Christmas Party.
