Richard David “Dick” Beaudry Sr., 86, of Wales Township, died Sunday, June 16, 2024.

He was born August 15, 1937 in Port Huron to the late Ruth T. and Harris W. “Buzz” Beaudry Sr. He married Patricia Pelc on May 25, 1957 in the Holy Rosary Church in Smiths Creek.

Dick was a 1956 graduate of Marysville High School and served in the U.S. Naval Reserve for 8 years. He was employed with Earl C. Smith Motor Freight, retiring after 30 years. After his retirement, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and golfing. Dick held numerous offices at Moose Lodge #158 and received the Pilgrim Degree in 2016. In addition, he was a member of the Sons of the Marysville American Legion #449, Blue Water Sport Fishing Association and Blue Water Aerie #3702 Fraternal Order of Eagles.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Patricia; two daughters, Mary Jo (Kevin) Siler and Terri Beaudry; two sons, Dave and Scott Beaudry; seven grandchildren, Kristie (David) Murphy, Kevin Joseph Siler (Melissa Hinkle), Amber Beaudry, Drew (Jamie) Beaudry, Nick (Ana) Beaudry, Matt (Lauren) Beaudry and Ryan Beaudry; 11 great grandchildren; sister, Ann Jackson; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Judy Switzer, Henry “Skip” Beaudry, Ruth Herrick, and infant Harris W. Beaudry Jr.

Visitation will be from 2-4 & 5-7 p.m. Friday, June 21, 2024 in the Marysville Funeral Home with a Loyal Order of the Moose Ritual at 7:15 p.m. followed by a eulogy. Inurnment will be in the Riverlawn Cemetery Columbarium, Marysville.

Memorial contributions may be made to Mooseheart, a home for children and teens in need from infancy through high school run by Moose Charities.
