Janet Pemberton

Janet Maxine Pemberton, 89, of Port Huron, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 12, 2024.

She was born June 28, 1934 in Hemlock, Michigan. She married Frank M. Pemberton on December 22, 1961 in Port Huron. He preceded her in death on February 3, 2008.

Janet loved the Lord and was a graduate of Prairie Hills Bible Institute. She was a member of the River Church and former member of Bethesda Bible Church where she would frequently be found playing the piano. She was a hard worker, enjoyed family get togethers and also taught piano. Janet’s greatest joy was her family, she was a devoted mother, wonderful grandmother and great grandmother.

She is survived by her daughter, Deborah (Tim) Morley; son, Jim Pemberton (Barb Hoag); three grandchildren, TJ Morley, Jennifer (Isaac) Stroup and Katelyn Morley; one great grandchild, Selah Stroup; siblings, Jack (Carolyn) Armstrong, Jim (Judy) Armstrong and Mark (Sharon) Armstrong; brother-in-law, Carlin (Faith) Orr; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Ruth Armstrong; son, Paul Pemberton; and sisters, Ann Orr and Mary Jo Armstrong.

Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, June 20, 2024 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Friday, June 21, 2024 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 11:00 a.m. The Reverend Bill Forbes will officiate.

Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Fort Gratiot Township.
