Lorman "Skinny" L Urban
Lorman “Skinny” Lee Urban, 63, of Port Huron, passed away on Tuesday, June 18, 2024 after a well fought illness. The Lord took him home where many family and friends were waiting to greet him with a beer, a motorcycle and a boat.
He was born September 3, 1960 in Port Huron to the late Larry and Joan Urban. He married Marlena C. Smilovsky on April 30, 2005 in Key Largo, Florida.
Lorman loved boats, fishing, smoking meat for everyone, classic rock and concerts. He loved Harley Davidson motorcycles, especially riding with his brothers. Lorman worked hard to become a certified marine mechanic, eventually working for a boat dealership, then owning his own business. He enjoyed spending time with his family and his dogs.
He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Marlena; daughters, Tonya Gay (Jason) and Tanya Gay; grandchildren, Jeremy and Cheyenne; six great grandchildren; sisters, Janet Cummins, Veronica Ruck, Dorothy (Jim) Koebke and Dawn (Ken) Joslin; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Peter and Cynthia Smilovsky; brother-in-law, Nik (Danielle) Smilovsky; and many other loving family members including, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Janet and Elsworth Moses, and Dorothy and Norm Peeling; and nephews, Joe Benner and Justin Ruck.
Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Saturday, June 22, 2024 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.
A Memorial Ride will be held the following weekend.
