Sheryl L Sheleny

Sheryl Lynn Sheleny, 77, of Fort Gratiot, died Thursday, June 27, 2024. She was born September 23, 1946 in Detroit to the late Morris and Elizabeth Wiederhold.

Sheryl graduated from Central Michigan University and was Director of Public Relations for Port Huron Hospital prior to her retirement. She loved music, was involved in the local music scene and enjoyed sailing and being on the water.

She is survived by two brothers, Kurt Wiederhold (Judy Devries) and Kris Wiederhold; four nephews, Eric, Scott (Carrie), Nicholas, and Ryan Wiederhold; and a great niece, Harper Wiederhold.

Cremation has taken place. The family will have a memorial event at a later date.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
