Allen L Bean, Jr.

Allen Louis Bean Jr., 78, of Port Huron, formerly of Rockford, Michigan, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 17, 2024.

He was born June 19, 1946 in Rockford, Michigan to the late Shirley and Allen Bean Sr. He married Linda Kay Glass on October 15, 1965 in Grand Rapids.

Allen was self-employed in quality diagnostics for many years. He enjoyed fishing and was an avid University of Michigan fan. Allen was a member or Cross Current Church.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Linda; four children, Allen (Shelley) Bean III, Tracee (The Reverend Mark) Wargo, Jennifer (Dave) Armstrong and Christine Bean (fiancé Ted Bartholomew); three grandchildren, Cory (Amanda) Wargo, Bailey Bean and Madison Bean; one great grandchild, Roma Wargo; siblings, Jane Fisk, Sue Warner, Dan Bean and Judy (Earl) Thomas; and several nieces and nephews.

Private family services will be held.
