Barbara S Grouette

Barbara Susan Grouette, 78, of Fort Gratiot, died Sunday, August 11, 2024.

She was born March 19, 1946 in Port Huron to the late E. Melvin and Virginia Wendt.

Barbara was employed as teller with People’s Bank and NBD Bank and retired from Chase Bank after 30 years of service. She was a very social person who loved spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her daughter, Suzanne Grouette (Ted Lovell); step-daughter, Kathi Kennedy; grandchildren, Ryan (Sara) Gudenau and Kati (Ryan) DeMeulenaere; great grandchildren, Venture and Benjamin; and brother, James Wendt. She was preceded in death by her long-time partner, Robert Kennedy; and sister-in-law, Ruth Ann Wendt.

Private family services will be held.
