Roy A Hutchins

Roy Arthur Hutchins, 82, of Burtchville Township, died Tuesday, September 3, 2024.

He was born November 25, 1941 in Muskegon to the late Earl and Signa Hutchins. He married Sharon Hutchins on August 4, 1984 in Las Vegas, Nevada. She preceded him in death on February 11, 2022 after 39 years of marriage.

Roy was employed as an engineer at CSX Railroad for 37 ½ years before his retirement.

He is survived by his stepson, Brian (Heather) Margret; grandchildren, Cody Bedell, Amiah (Anthony) Torres, Nia and Gavin Margret; three great-grandchildren Solanus Torres, Nyree Margret- McVety, and Thea Torres; four siblings, Ben Hutchins, Beverly Larkin, Wesley Hutchins and Sara Archer; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by a stepson, Bradley Margret; and six siblings, Warren Hutchins, Bill Hutchins, Gene Hutchins, Don Hutchins, Bob Hutchins and Kenny Hutchins.

Inurnment will be in Burtchville Township Cemetery.
