Richard A Liebisch Sr.

Richard Allen Liebisch Sr., 95, of Burtchville Township, died Tuesday, September 17, 2024.

He was born April 4, 1929 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Otto and Charlotte Liebisch.

Richard was a tool and die maker with Chrysler for many years prior to his retirement. He enjoyed boating, cooking, and honorably served in the U.S. Air Force stateside, during the Korean War.

He is survived by his children, Richard Liebisch Jr., Timothy Liebisch and Karen Hubbarth; 13 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jean; sons, Kenneth and Gary Liebisch; grandson, Eric Liebisch; and two siblings.

Private family services will be held with military honors conducted under the auspices of the U.S. Air Force and the St. Clair County Allied Veterans Honor Guard.
