Janet Horner Dimmick

Janet Ruth Horner Dimmick, 85, of Marysville, died Friday, October 25, 2024.

She was born on October 22, 1939 in Port Huron to the late William and Elizabeth Turner. She married Ralph Dimmick on June 4, 1983 in Croswell.

Janet was a 1958 graduate of Marysville High School and worked as a waitress for many years. She enjoyed going on walks, shopping and collecting antiques. She loved spending time with her family, and had a special affection for babies.

Janet is survived by her husband, Ralph; children, Becky Langolf (Rick Fagan), Ben Horner, Nancy Blake, Joel (Rita) Horner and Jason (Christine) Dimmick; daughter-in-law, Lori McInnis; grandchildren, Lindsay (Stephen) Walters, Evan Langolf, Brendan Horner, Caleb Horner, Megan Blake, Stephanie Blake, Travis (Katie) Frendt, Andy Frendt, Shannon (Austin) Webster, and Tyler Dimmick; four great-grandchildren; her sister, Joanne Czeiszperger; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two sisters and a brother.

Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 30, 2024 in the Marysville Funeral Home.

A funeral service will be on Thursday, October 31, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. in the Marysville Funeral Home. Hospice Chaplain Vicki Torrey will officiate.

Inurnment will take place in Great Lakes National Cemetery, in Holly.
