Audrey M Sandoval

Audrey Mae Sandoval, 77, beloved mother and grandmother, of Fort Gratiot, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 3, 2024.

She was born November 10, 1946 in Port Huron to the late Frank and Velda Rich. She married Raymond C. “Bud” Sandoval on March 21, 1970 in Sparlingville Wesleyan Church. They were married for 51 years until his death on February 15, 2022.

Audrey was a 1965 graduate of Port Huron High School. She spent several years as a homemaker when the children were little, and then worked at Sears and Unitron. Later in life, she enjoyed volunteering with the St. Clair County Council on Aging.

In retirement, Audrey loved traveling with Bud, wintering in Florida, playing cards, and spending time with wonderful friends. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were her world, and she loved visiting with them and supporting them in their activities. She will forever be in the hearts of her family and friends and will be missed every day.

Audrey is survived by her daughter, Cathy (John) Stuewer; son, Christopher Sandoval; grandchildren, Matthew (Serena) Leach, Paris Sandoval, Alexander and Amelia Stuewer, and Jazlyn and Ethan Aranda; great grandchildren, Madilyn, Mason and Oliver; her best friend of over 70 years, Jennie Hubbard; four siblings, Carol Belcarz, Linda Hand, David Rich and Penny Spencer; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her 10-year-old son, Corry, who died in a car accident in 1985; her parents; and siblings, Anceil “Sonny” Rich, Kathy Rosebury, Doug Rich, Ruth Kriston and Richard Rich.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 9, 2024 in the Marysville Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 12:00 noon. Pastor Terry Kuhns will officiate.

Burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Wales Township.
