Obituary

Michael Robert Eastwood, 63, of Port Huron, died Monday, November 4, 2024.

He was born October 27, 1961 in Port Huron to the late Joseph and Shirley Eastwood. He married Sandra Jean on April 14, 2014 in Maui, Hawaii.

Michael was employed with HP Peltzer in quality control for several years and previously with Port Huron Hospital and Mercy Hospital. He loved to travel, including yearly trips to Mexico. Michael enjoyed watching football, playing euchre and spending time with his family, especially travelling in the RV. He was well respected and highly thought of by his employer and coworkers for always being helpful, generous and keeping a positive attitude. Michael was extremely patriotic and honorably served in the U.S. Army. He spent two tours serving as a military police officer and chauffeur in Heidelberg, Germany.

He is survived by his wife of 10 years, Sandie; children, Matthew Eastwood, Sara Eastwood (Scott Phillips), Carrie (Gordon) Farnsworth and Jason (Renee) Reed; grandchildren, Taytum Reed (Joey Wassell), Logan Farnsworth, Emma C. Farnsworth, Emma J. Collins and Blake E. Phillips; siblings, Tim Eastwood, Karen (Dave) Lewandowski, Ellen (Steve) Dudzik, Tom (Barb) Eastwood, Dan (Laura) Eastwood and Paula (Jim) Evers; sister-in-law, Sheryl (Dave) Williams; feline fur babies, Foxie and Chase; numerous nieces and nephews; numerous bonus nieces and nephews; and dear friend, Dianne Stephens.

Visitation will be held from 1-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Friday, November 8, 2024 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 9, 2024 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. Shaun Laurain will officiate. Military honors will be conducted under the auspices of the U.S. Army and the St. Clair County Allied Veterans Honor Guard.
