Jeffrey Lee Young, 55, of Marysville, died Saturday, November 9, 2024.

He was born August 15, 1969 in Deckerville to Grace and the late Merton Young. Jeff met Connie Leslie through a mutual friend where they discovered a shared passion for NASCAR Racing. They were married on May 18, 1996 in Marysville.

Jeff was employed as a line leader with Chrysler-Warren Stamping Plant for 10 years, unfortunately having to retire due to health concerns. He loved helping his dad at work where he owned “Young Signs”. Jeff was so creative, he loved painting holiday themes on windows of family, friends and businesses. He loved his Saturday outings to Home Depot and Lowes with his beloved Golden Retrievers, Luke and then Obi. He also enjoyed his daily trips for hot tea with espresso at the Marysville Tim Hortons, where he had quite the fan club. Jeff will be forever remembered for his huge heart and wonderful sense of humor.

The most important part of Jeff’s life was his wonderful family. He was so proud of his children and adored his grandchildren. Being a Grampa meant everything to him. He also loved family board game nights when his siblings were in town. There was never a dull moment when Jeff was around!
