Elizabeth L Rosales

Elizabeth Lou Rosales, 80, of Fort Gratiot, died Wednesday, November 13, 2024.

She was born November 19, 1943 in Mount Clemens to the late Frank J. and Marguerite M. Isbister. She married Ricardo “Rick” Rosales on September 6, 1985 in Port Huron. He preceded her in death on January 8, 2014.

Elizabeth graduated from Memphis High School and later Eastern Michigan University. She was a teacher with the Port Huron Area School District for 34 years prior to her retirement in 2000. After retirement, she moved to Arkansas where she was a member of New Life Church in Ash Flat and enjoyed spending time at the Cherokee Village Senior Center. She returned to Port Huron in 2018 and was a member of Port Huron Church of Christ.

She is survived by her children, Angelia (Andrew) Sanders, Becky (Allen) Chartier and Rachel Rosales (Mike Oberman); grandchildren, Scott (Cami) and Erin Sanders; brothers-in-law, Andy (Gail) Rosales, Rudy (Cindy) Rosales, Joe (Debbie) Rosales and Jessie (Carman) Rosales; sister-in-law, Mary Cripps; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, Kathy Stubbe, Joyce Martin and Annie Williams. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Mary (Dale) Sample, Nancy LaRocque and Herman Isbister.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 15, 2024 in Port Huron Church of Christ, 756 17th St., with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. The Reverend Lamar Black will officiate.

Burial will be in Caswell Cemetery, Kimball Township.

The family prefers memorial contributions be made to Port Huron Church of Christ.
