Dale H Walgrave

Dale Henri Walgrave, 54, of Fort Gratiot, passed away on Saturday, November 16th, 2024.

He was born April 20th, 1970 in Grosse Pointe, MI.

Mr. Walgrave was a StoneMason the majority of his life around Michigan and Florida, and a locksmith later in life. He was a world-class drummer who also enjoyed martial arts in his younger years. He was an avid hockey and football fan as well. He loved to watch the Detroit Red Wings, Port Huron Prowlers (Beacons, Flags and Border Cats also!) and the Detroit Lions. He will be fondly remembered for his love of fresh Georgia peaches where “the juice would run down your elbow when you bite into them!”

He is survived by his wife, Robin Walgrave; 3 children, Patience Cooley, Elijah Walgrave and Peace (Caleb) Smith; 12 grandchildren, Gabe, Skylee, Asa, Harlan, Harmony, Nehemiah, Elijah Jr., Lyrica, Khi, Melody, Mackenzie and Asar; as well as 6 siblings, Rik (Wendy) Walgrave, Tom (Mary) Walgrave, Theresa Martino, Amber (Dave) Wilson, Nathan (Ashlee) Tworek and Amanda (Adam) Cline; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Dale Keith Walgrave in March 1986 and his mother, Adelheid “Heidi” Tworek in April 2020.

Private services will be held in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Fort Gratiot.

His daughter, Peace wishes to add “My Father had many lessons and values that he passed down to all of us throughout our lives, but what I hold closest to me is his constant reminder to always respect and love one another.” His grandson Gabe says, “my Opa did a great job taking care of me and I will see him again in Heaven.”
