Gloria C LaPine Parker

Gloria Charlotte LaPine Parker, 90, beloved mother, grandmother and sister, passed peacefully in her own home surrounded by her loving family Monday, November 25, 2024.

She was born January 6, 1934 in Port Huron to the late Ernest and Lela Orr.

Gloria had a chatty, witty and feisty personality. She was also a very loving caretaker to her family. She was an avid Bingo player, enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and watching Westerns and loved reading, often completing a book in a single day.

She is survived by nine children, Connie (Bill) Hipple, Cheryl (Mike) Filer, Ronald Pringle, Donald Pringle, Cheryl (Gary) Dickens, Patricia (Jeff) Viola, Tracey Travis (Mike Ellul), Babette Rambone and Shane LaPine; two siblings, Bill Orr and Darlene Norton; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; and dear friend, Joel “JoJo” Travis. She was preceded in death by her daughter Karen Ainsworth; son-in-law, Harold; and six siblings, Jim Orr, David Orr, Ernie Orr, Betty Kaupp, Alberta Martin and Elizabeth Bissell.

Memorial contributions in Gloria’s honor may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
