James E Morrin
James Ernest “Jim” Morrin, 80, of Memphis, was called to Heaven on December 5, 2024.
He was born to William and Ruth Morrin on February, 17, 1944 in Armada, Michigan. He married Linda Dawe on July 16, 1962. She preceded him in death on June 30, 2011 after 48 years of marriage.
Throughout his life, Jim worked at many jobs including Armada Rubber Factory, Foster Oil Company and Sacred Heart Rehabilitation Center. Jim had the ability to repair almost anything that was broken and was especially known for his skill in small engine repair.
He is survived by his four daughters, Kathy (Randy) Cuthbertson, Ruth (Dominic) Ciani, Jamie (Chris) Boyd and Erin (Pete) DeMoss; eight grandchildren, Stephanie (Chris) Fitzpatrick, Zach (Holly) Cuthbertson, Ashley (Eric) Martindale, Ryan Boyd, Tina (Ken) Brier, Hanna (Justin) Ford, Kara George and Lindell George; ten great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Shirley (Morrin) Ganich; and his brother, Dennis “Sonny” Morrin.
No services are planned at this time. Memorials may be made to Saint Clair County Council on Aging, Blue Water Area Humane Society or your favorite animal rescue.
