Mary A Bixler

Mary A. Bixler, 89, of Marysville, died Sunday, December 15, 2024.

She was born May 14, 1935 in Port Huron to the late Laurence and Regina Rands.

Mary graduated from Marysville High School. She was employed as an operator with Marysville Plastics Corporation for 25 years prior to her retirement. Mary was a member of St. Christopher Catholic Church, Parish Council, the Altar Society and Eucharistic Ministry.

She is survived by her children, Joseph (Stacy) Bixler, Jean Carolan, James (Helen) Bixler and Ann (David) Taylor; 12 grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; a brother, Patrick (Sandy) Rands; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter and son-in-law, Laura (Darwin) Kelch; son-in-law, Daniel Carolan and two brothers, Larry and Bill Rands.

Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Thursday in the Marysville Funeral Home. A Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m.

Mrs. Bixler will lie in state from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, December 20, 2024 in St. Christopher Catholic Church. The Reverend James Arwady will officiate.

Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Port Huron. Pallbearers will be her grandchildren.
