Aaron G Allen

Aaron Glen Allen, 42, of Marysville, died unexpectedly on Monday, December 16, 2024.

He was born May 25, 1982 in South Bend, Indiana to Juli and the late Richard Allen. Talented in the kitchen from a young age, Aaron started as a prep cook at the Pilot House when he was 13 and fell in love with food service. He completed training through the TEC center and became a chef at the Voyageur where he worked for many years. Currently, Aaron was the head chef at the St. Clair Golf Club.

He was a longtime Notre Dame superfan, enjoyed camping and working on cars, and was a “collector” of things. More than anything, he loved spending time with his kids.

He is survived by his children, Alivia, Addison, Avery and Brycen Allen; his mother, Juli Allen; grandmother, Mary Avery; siblings, Jayson (Emily) Allen and Lesley Allen; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins; and in-laws, Charlie and Krystal Taylor. He was preceded in death by his brother, Adam Allen; father, Richard Allen; grandparents, Donald Avery, Dallas and Elizabeth Clark; and significant other, Alana.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, December 23, 2024 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m. Aaron’s family requests that guests wear comfortable clothing for the service, and Notre Dame gear if possible.
