James D "Jim" Dominick
James David “Jim” Dominick, 72, of Port Huron, died Monday, January 6, 2025.
He was born July 19, 1952 in Youngstown, Ohio to the late Frank and Alice Dominick. He married Cindy S. Frizzle on August 29, 1981. She preceded him in death on May 30, 2023 after 41 years of marriage.
Jim dedicated 20 years to serving in the U.S. Army as a court reporter, achieving the rank of Sergeant First Class before his retirement. He was a life member of the Disabled American Veterans and became an ordained minister of the Christan Glory Church in 2009.
He is survived by four daughters, Star (Willie) Wileman, Stacy Michael (Michael Pacholec), Tracy (Ron) VanNatta and Jayme (Jason) Wileman; nine grandchildren, Jacob VanNatta, Dominick VanNatta, Abigail Michael, Evan VanNatta, Amelia Michael, Julia Wileman, Josie Wileman, Donovan Dominick and Alivia Thomas; four siblings, Frank Dominick, Shirley (Ron) Vargo, Donna Paulette (Leo) Day and Kathryn Kedzieski; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Rachael Dominick-Freeman in 2024; four siblings, Mary Alice (Bob) Horner, Peter Dominick, Michael Dominick and Joseph Dominick; and brother-in-law, James Kedzieski.
Private family services will be held.
