Colin E Louks
Colin Edgar Louks, 81, of Clyde Township, died Thursday, January 9, 2025.
He was born March 24, 1943 in Port Huron to the late Lowell and Rosella Louks. He married Bernadine Nunez in April of 1988 in St. Petersburg, Florida.
Colin was a manager with Canadian National / Grand Trunk Western Railroad. He was Superintendent of the Port Huron Car Shop, Field Mechanical Officer for Battle Creek, Michigan and then became General Manager for Adrian & Blissfield Railroad Company. He loved golfing with his railroad buddies, taking care of his yard and sunning himself by the pool. He especially enjoyed taking his 1938 Chevy and two corvettes to car shows.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 36 years, Bernadine; three children, Kimberly (Thomas) Tippens, Todd (Karen) Louks and Tamara (Kevin) Burtch; two stepchildren, Todd (Beth) Randall and Rhonda Randall; nine grandchildren; one great grandchild, Woodson Williamson; siblings, Gary Louks, Janet (David) Hustek, Karen (Michael) Loxton, Patrick Louks, Louanne (Ken) Reeves and Michael (Holly) Webster; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, January 15, 2025 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, January 16, 2025 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 9:30 a.m. Deacon Dennis Crimmins will officiate.
Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery, Port Huron. Pallbearers will be Todd Louks, Kyle Louks, Todd Randall, Ravin Randall, Michael Loxton and Gary Louks.
