Marvin L Tople

November 20th, 1945 to January 13th, 2025

Marvin Leon Tople, faithful resident of Plymouth Township and Port Huron, passed away on Monday, January 13, 2025 surrounded by his loving family.

Marv was born November 20, 1945 in Detroit to the late Edward and Ruth Tople, younger brother to Bud and Norman Tople. He graduated from Cass Tech High School and worked as an electrician for 49 years at Ford Motor Company, with Local 600. He was a proud member and the handsome handyman of Divine Savior Catholic Church.

Marvin was an amazing father and grandfather who ensured his family never went without toilet paper and windshield wiper fluid. He also guaranteed everyone - friends, family, and neighbors - always ate their oranges.

Marvin is survived by: his son, Edward Tople (Ed’s wife, Beth Tople, and their son Ryan Tople and left handed daughter, Riley Tople); his son, Lawrence Tople (Larry’s wife, Meagan Tople, and their children, Kole and Elliott Tople); his daughter, Stephanie Tople-Niborski (Stephanie’s husband, Brian Niborski, and their left handed children, Casimir and Marek Tople); and his daughter, Christine Sova (Christine’s husband, Adam Sova, and their daughters, Madison and Parker Sova); and many extended family and friends.

Visitation will be from 12 noon - 3 p.m. Saturday, January 18, 2025 in the Marysville Funeral Home. A scripture service will conclude the visitation at 3:00 p.m. The Reverend Phil Whetstone will officiate.

Instead of memorial contributions, please buy some citrus (it has to be from Florida, preferably 72s), and enjoy it with you family and friends.

Arrangements are by Marysville Funeral Home. To send condolences, visit marysvillefuneralhome.com.

Marvin would rather be dancing…and in Heaven he is.
