Mary Huston

Mary J. Huston, 86, of Port Huron, died Saturday, January 25, 2025.

She was born December 7, 1938 in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia to the late Charles and Annie Faulkner and was the youngest of 12 children. She married Gerald Huston, and they spent 48 years together before his passing on November 20, 2013.

Mary was employed as a cosmetologist for several years in Sarnia. She received her Master’s in Education from Wayne State University and then taught at St. Mary McCormick Catholic Academy. She loved figure skating, bingo and listening to bagpipes.

She is survived by her children, G. Scott (Kerrie) Huston and Terri-Lyn Huston; one grandchild, Rylynne; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Private family services will be held at Washington Township Cemetery this spring where she and her husband will be laid to rest together.

Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia, Sanborn Gratiot Memorial Home or Harmony Cares Hospice.
