Maree' E Storey

Maree' Elizabeth Storey, 78, of Fort Gratiot, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on Saturday, February 1, 2025.

Maree' was born September 5, 1946 in Mount Clemens, Michigan to the late Mark and Barbara Berlinger. She is reunited with her beloved husband of 50 years, Lester, who passed on July 6, 2013.

Maree' was a parishioner of Holy Trinity Parish St. Stephen Catholic Church, a devoted member of the choir, "singing the Lord’s praises" and volunteering in many positions for the church.

Maree' was a strong woman with unwavering faith and resilience who always found a way to overcome life’s obstacles with grace. Her warmth, generosity, and unwavering spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Maree' is survived by four sons, who were her life’s greatest blessings, Les (Wanda) Storey, Mark (Jennifer) Storey, Don Storey and Michael (Denise) Storey. Maree' was a devoted grandma to April Storey, Kimberly (Jason) Erickson, Joshua (Danielle) Storey, Jacob (Molly) Storey, Jordan Storey, Alan (Kristen) Osgood, Amber (Caleb) Rock and Christina Storey. She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren; seven siblings, Diann Langmesser, Mike (Linda) Berlinger, Donna (Dave) Jarvis, Bob (Dolores) Berlinger, Renee (Steve) McNally, Carmen (Jim) Zimmerman, Lisa (Kurt) Winningham; sister-in-law, Lisa Berlinger; and her loving, faithful dog, Daisy. She was preceded in death by a brother Mark Berlinger; sister, Karen Dombrowski; brother-in-law, Jerome Langmesser; and nephew, Kevin Berlinger.

Visitation will be from 4-8 Thursday, February 6, 2025 in the Marysville Funeral Home.

The Funeral Mass for Maree’ will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 7, 2025 in Holy Trinity Parish St. Stephen Catholic Church. The Reverend Brad Forintos will officiate.

Internment will be in the Memphis Cemetery.
