Albert J Guarnieri
Albert Joseph “Al” Guarnieri, 82, of St. Clair, entered eternal life on Sunday, February 2, 2025.
He was born on, Easter Sunday, April 5, 1942 in Warren to the late Paul and Marie Guarnieri and was one of six siblings. He married his soulmate, Kimette “Kimmy” Nipper, on September 20, 1980 in Wyandotte.
Albert worked as the meat cutter and manager at Kroger for 45 years until his retirement. Albert and Kimmy were the truest example of love. Despite any challenges, they were able to persevere. He enjoyed watching old movies, historical documentaries, westerns, attending music in the park and music festivals. Another one of his passions was cooking for his friends and family. Most importantly, Al loved spending time with his family and friends. His face beamed with pride when telling stories about them.
His heart was filled with kindness, his smile and laugh were contagious, and he made everyone feel like a life-long friend, greeting everyone he saw with “Hey buddy!”
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Kimette; children, Vicki Piertrykowski, Vince Guarnieri, Vino (Kathleen) Guarnieri, and Suzanne Romero; grandchildren, Tyler and Shane Moore, Cheyne and Marcie Piertrykowski, Michael Guarnieri, Lindsey Guarnieri, Lori Schmerda, and Brooklyn Romero; great-granchildren, Gracen, Halle, Abel, Bella, Jayde, Michael, and Luna; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his siblings Paul, Marie, Chuck, Dominic, and Leo.
A memorial event will take place at a later date.
