Douglas D Brown

Douglas Dale Brown, 58, of Fort Gratiot, died Sunday, February 2, 2025.

He was born August 23, 1966 in Port Huron to Pamela and the late Lanny Brown.

Douglas was a 1984 graduate of Cros-Lex High School, where he made many life-long friendships that continue to this day. After graduation, he continued his studies at MSU for 4 years. His fondness for sports, especially football, was evident in his long-standing loyalty to the Detroit Lions. He was a season ticket holder for the team for many years and belonged to two fantasy football leagues, one for an impressive 35 years and another for 27 years. He loved playing cards and Catan with his friends.

He is survived by his mother, Pamela Brown; brother, Todd (Darlene) Brown; sister, Megan Brown; nephew, Jarrett (Rachel) Brown and a baby great niece to be born soon; niece, Hannah (Luke) Datema; his girlfriend, Lori Zack; many aunts, uncles and cousins; and numerous friends.

Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. Friday, February 7, 2025 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 8, 2025 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. The Reverend Drew Mills of Lakeport Wesleyan Church will officiate.

Inurnment will be in the Woodland Cemetery Columbarium, Port Huron Township.

Douglas’ family prefers that memorial contributions be made to Mid-City Nutrition.
