Eva A Leaym

Eva Annabelle Leaym, 79, of Kimball Township, died Wednesday, February 12, 2025.

She was born February 1, 1946 in Port Huron.

Eva worked for several years as a short-order cook and waitress before beginning her role as a homemaker. She was a lively, charismatic woman known for her bold personality and unapologetic honesty, never hesitating to speak her mind.

She is survived by four children, Mary Dobson, Clinton (Leanne) Dobson, Dawn (Brian) Loxton and Mark (Cheryl) Dobson; 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Nancy (Elmer) Gamble and Mary “Francis” Carroll. She was preceded in death by three husbands, Clinton Dobson, Robert Kelly and Donald “Butch” Leaym; daughter, Wendy Dobson; four siblings, Duane Levitt, Joan Parker, Shirley Frizzle and Joanne Singles; and her cherished Rat Terrier, Chewy, who she often preferred over her children. A memorial event will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 22, 2025 in The Reinvestment Center, 3013 24th Street, Port Huron (Corner of 24th and Nern Streets).

Inurnment will be in the Allied Veterans Cemetery Columbarium, Port Huron.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Blue Water Area Humane Society.
