David Stewart

David Lee “Dave” Stewart, 68, of Port Huron, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 12, 2025.

He was born March 8, 1956, in Port Huron, Michigan to the late Walter Brown and Maggie Dell Stewart.

Dave, or Super Dave as many called him, was the life of the party. He loved to play basketball, eat candy, and spend time with his 4-legged companion, Bella.

David is survived by his children, T’Wana Edwards, Deon Phillips, Damon Edwards and Shamara Henderson; a sister, Darlene (Lee) Reardon; two brothers, Carlos Stewart and Doug (Lathis) Stewart; 17 grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Walter Brown and Maggie Dell Stewart; a grandson, Martell Phillips; his sisters, Christine Norman and Shirley Moore; his brothers, Warren Stewart, Harvey Stewart and Mark Stewart.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 28, 2025, in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 11:00 a.m. The Reverend Edward Beavers will officiate.

A Repast will follow at The Masonic Temple Central Star Lodge, 2625 Moak St., Port Huron.
