Margaret "Peggy" Stone

Margaret Ann “Peggy” Stone, 76, of Burtchville Township, died Thursday, February 20, 2025.

She was born February 19, 1949 in Port Huron to the late Andrew and Patricia Herber. She married Gene R. Stone on January 8, 1983. He preceded her in death on December 9, 2021.

Margaret was employed as a school bus driver with the Port Huron Area School District for many years prior to her retirement. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, crocheting, reading, traveling and gardening.

She is survived by her children, Blake (Scott) Biland, Matthew Silver, Raymond (Claudine) Stone, Judi Stone (Rick Woolman) and Gene (Leslie) Stone; many grandchildren, including Chloe, Corey, Keaton, Claudia, Claire, Tanton, Holly and Catie; many great grandchildren; siblings, Marsha Torello-Lavere, Rebecca Herber and Scott (Nancy) Herber; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Monday, February 24, 2025 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 25, 2025 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m.

Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery, Port Huron Township. Pallbearers will be Matthew Silver, Scott Biland, Corey Woolman and Rick Woolman.
