Grace L Rock

Grace Lillian Rock, 103, of Marysville, died Friday, March 14, 2025.

She was born July 29, 1921 in Armada to the late Robert and Watie Zielesch. She married Vernon R. Rock on January 1, 1942 in Romeo. He preceded her in death on October 31, 1994.

Grace enjoyed crocheting, baking, playing cards, square dancing with her husband and wintering in Texas. She was a longtime member and one of the original founding members of Pilgrim Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her children, David (Ginger) Rock, Nancy Bond, James (Dottie) Rock and Orville (Renee) Rock; grandchildren, Michael (Charlene) Rock, Richard Rock, Tracey Bond, Andrew (Quinn) Bond, Rebecca (Lee) Phillips-Gould, Stacey (Travis) Minard, Jennifer (Jake) Ellis, Jo Lynn (Markie) Williams, David Elsholz, Sean (Elaine) Elsholz, Justin Rock (Kerry) and Donald Rock (Sam); and many great grandchildren; She was preceded in death by her son, Kenneth Rock; grandson, Fred Bond; and three brothers and two sisters.

Visitation will be held from 2-5 p.m. on Sunday, March 23, 2025 in the Marysville Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 24, 2025 in Pilgrim Lutheran Church with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. The Reverend Michael Opfermann will officiate.

Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, St. Clair.
