Joan F McCoy

Joan Frances McCoy, 78, of Port Huron, died Thursday, March 20, 2025.

She was born May 6, 1946 in Detroit to the late George and Frances Mieldezis. She married Jerald C. McCoy on June 10, 2000 in St. Jude Parish in Detroit.

Joan was an insurance agent with Aitken & Ormond Insurance Agency for 18 years. She enjoyed traveling with her husband, Jerald, their wedding and honeymoon were quite the adventure! She especially loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband of 24 years, Jerald; two step-sons, Keith (Diane) McCoy and Kevin (Lori) McCoy; five grandchildren; four great grandchildren; brother, Paul Mieldezis; a niece and great niece.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 11, 2025 in First United Methodist Church with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m.

Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Port Huron.
