Shirley A Barr

Shirley Ann Barr, 90, of Fort Gratiot, formerly of Jeddo, died Friday, March 21, 2025.

She was born July 22, 1934 in Port Huron to the late James and Julia “Edna” Beaver. She married Kenneth A. Barr on April 13, 1953 in Port Huron. He preceded her in death on September 7, 1994.

Shirley was dedicated to her family and focused on caring for her children, especially her daughter Kristy. She loved playing bingo and euchre, traveling, bird watching, raising monarch butterflies and socializing.

She is survived by her children, Kristine Barr, Katherine (Robert) Barr-Gomoluch and Kenneth (Jeanne) Barr; grandchildren, Justin Gomoluch (fiancée Amy Feick), Julia Barr, Angela Barr (Brooks Straus), Bradley Gomoluch and Amanda Gomoluch; great grandchildren, Sophia, Kenzie and Averie; and good friend, Patricia Lawrence. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Lorraine Woods, Leon Beaver, Earlene Boehm, Norman Beaver, LaVerne Beaver and James Beaver.

Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, March 24, 2025 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, March 25, 2025 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 9:30 a.m. Shaun Laurain will officiate. Pallbearers will be her grandchildren and neighbor, Scott Wilson.

Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery, Port Huron.
