Michael J Dickinson

Michael John Dickinson, 72, of Burtchville Township, died Friday, March 28, 2025.

He was born March 30, 1952 in Port Huron to the late Harold and Rose Marie Dickinson.

Mike graduated from Port Huron High School and was very proud to be a Big Red. He was employed as a dairy manager with Kroger for many years. Those who knew him well, knew him as “Iron Mike”.

He enjoyed playing recreational hockey, slow pitch softball, bowling and golf. Mike had many fond memories of trips to Disney World with his family and spending time at Lakeside Beach. His greatest joy was attending his grandkids sporting events and taking them to dinner at Coney Island. He was an avid supporter of the Michigan State Spartans and Detroit Tigers.

He is survived by his three daughters, Kara (Kevin) Richards, Heather (Robert) Garant, Tammy (Michael) Nolan; eight grandchildren; brothers, William (Patricia), Jeff (Pam) and Randy (Carri) Dickinson; several nieces and nephews; and many loyal friends over his lifetime that he enjoyed spending time with.

A memorial event to celebrate his life will be held this summer.
