Jean E Wilson
Jean Eileen Wilson, 94, of Port Huron, died Sunday, March 30, 2025. She was born December 5, 1930 in Minden City to the late William and Irene Halifax. She married Erwin Wayne Wilson on October 1, 1949 in Minden City.
Jean was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, devotion, and faith.
Jean’s greatest joy in life was her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved camping and spending time outdoors, enjoying nature, and making every moment special with her family. Jean was a fantastic cook and baker, and her baked goods were a staple at family gatherings and holiday celebrations. Her faith was a cornerstone of her life. As a devoted member of North Street United Methodist Church and an active participant in United Methodist Women, Jean gave her time, energy, and heart to her church. She found great purpose in serving others, always putting the needs of those around her before her own.
Jean was the kind of person who made life a little brighter for everyone who knew her. She took care of everyone around her, always offering kindness, comfort, and unconditional love. Her generosity, warmth, and selflessness will be deeply missed but will live on in the many lives she touched.
She is survived by her grandchildren, Jennifer (Rob) Barr, Mike Wilson, Mathew Wilson, Nathan Wilson, Dennis (Carrie) Wilson, Brian (Holly) Wilson; many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; sisters, Betty Smith and Mary Lou Kramer; sisters-in-law, Mary Halifax, Barb Halifax and Linda Halifax; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Erwin Wilson; sons and daughters-in-law, Larry (Linda) Wilson and Dennis (Ronda) Wilson; and thirteen of her siblings and their spouses.
