Myrna J Pelc
Myrna Jean Pelc, 83, of Smith Creek, died Monday, March 31, 2025.
She was born August 19, 1941 in St. Clair to the late Marvin and Muriel Dandron and married Ronald J. Pelc on March 4, 1966 in Ohio.
Myrna was a selfless woman who spent her life caring for others. She helped support her family by working midnights at Huron Plastics for several years and had a passion for helping to care for people in their homes. Always an active mother and grandma, she loved being involved in the lives and interests of her family. She enjoyed boating and spending time near the water, going up north in Michigan (especially to Mio), and ice fishing.
Myrna is survived by her husband of 59 years, Ronald; four children, Thomas Snowden (Rachel Grady), Susan Snowden, Gina (Roger) Fleury and Ronald (Kathy) Pelc II; 13 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren with another on the way; a sister, Martha Zimmer; many nieces and nephews; and her beloved Toy Yorkie, Angel. She was preceded in death by four siblings, Gathel (Ravena) Pickering, Marvin Dandron, Percy (Donald) Werner and Anna (Stanley) Wilson; and a brother-in-law, Warren Zimmer.
A visitation will be held from 1-3 & 5-8 p.m. Thursday, April 3, 2025 in the Marysville Funeral Home. A Scripture Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Father James Arwady will officiate.
Inurnment will be in the Riverlawn Cemetery Columbarium, Marysville.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Arrangements are by Marysville Funeral Home.
