Raynette Hughes

Raynette Hughes, 72, of Port Huron, went home to be with the Lord Monday, April 7, 2025.

She was born September 30, 1952 in Detroit to the late Raymond and Renolda Hughes and moved to Port Huron in 1981.

Raynette enjoyed playing cards, drawing and listening to Michael Jackson music. She especially loved spending time with her family.

She leaves to mourn her passing her daughter, Lynette Hughes; son, James Hughes; nine grandchildren, Tiara, Donzel, Dawon, Ashanti, Darshay, DeShawn, Mashyla, King and JoJo; many great grandchildren; sister, Sharon (Glenn) Darnell; brother, Raymond Hughes; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her son, Tony Hughes; and sister, Bernice Johnson.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 19, 2025 in Restoration Christian Community Church with visitation beginning at 12 noon. Dr. Carl Miller will officiate.
