Mary Helen Buckeridge

Mary Helen Buckeridge, 80, of Port Huron Township, died Sunday, April 13, 2025.

She was born April 19, 1944 in Port Huron to the late George and Elizabeth Alexis. She married James F. Buckeridge Jr. on September 1, 1972 in Port Huron. He preceded her in death on August 12, 2016.

Mary Helen was employed as an OR Tech with Port Huron Hospital for many years prior to her retirement. Mary Helen and James loved to travel and spent their winters in Bonita Springs, Florida. She enjoyed going to the casino, shopping at Kohl’s and working in her garden.

She is survived by her daughter, Melisa Cowan; five grandchildren, Lauren (Stephen) Brown, Hannah (Geoffrey) Aplin, Emma, Brian III and Drake Cowan; great-grandchildren, Melody Heimbach, Maeve Aplin and Radner Aplin; brother-in-law, David (Jackie) Buckeridge; many nieces and nephews; and her beloved cat, Maddie. She was preceded in death by her sister, Kathy Alexis; and brother, Edward Alexis.

Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 17, 2025 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. Shaun Laurain will officiate.

Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery, Port Huron Township.
