George E Mayer Jr.

George Edward Mayer Jr., 70, of Kimball Township, died Monday, April 14, 2025.

He was born August 1, 1954 in New York to the late George and Margaret Mayer.

George was involved in restaurant management for many years, most recently co-owning Great Lakes Italian with his daughter. He enjoyed playing guitar, reading, going to the library and listening to live music.

He is survived by his daughter, Alyson Dennis; her mother, Karin Mayer; grandchild, Hazel Dennis; siblings, Bobby Mayer, Ellen Mayer and Jean Mayer; nephew, Aidan Mayer; and many friends.

Cremation has taken place. No services are scheduled at this time.
