Gwendolyn Mitch

Gwendolyn “Gwen” Mitch (nee Cleland), age 69, of Fort Gratiot, MI, passed away on April 20, 2025 with her family by her side. She was born November 28, 1955 in Detroit, MI.

She was a 1973 graduate of Farmington High School. Gwen was a very hard worker and employed in the medical field all her life. She worked with Dr. John Mullally, MD for the last 27 years. Gwen embodied the perfect blend of kindness and strength. She was a loyal sports fan and particularly loved the Detroit Lions. Gwen also loved flowers, candles, and spending time with her family and cats.

Gwen is survived by her loving partner of 27 years, Rick Adams of Fort Gratiot, MI; her children, Kelly Norton (Shawn Fritz) of Las Vegas, NV and Ryan Mitch (Rebecca Heard) of Fort Gratiot, MI and five grandchildren. She is also survived by her mother, Ann Cleland; and brother, David (Tamera) Cleland, all of Grand Junction, CO. She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Cleland; and her beloved brother, Michael Cleland.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
