Ralph C Westbrook

April 8th, 1939 to April 22nd, 2025

Ralph Charles Westbrook, 86, of Kimball Township, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 22, 2025.

He was born April 8, 1939, in Croswell to the late Clayton A. and Veola E. Westbrook. He married Mary Ann Blatt on May 27, 1961 in Marysville.

Ralph graduated from Marysville High School in 1958. He then enlisted in the U.S. Army and served in Korea after the War. He owned and operated Black River Concrete for 52 years before his retirement. Ralph was a long-time member of First Church of the Nazarene. He enjoyed gardening and cutting the grass on his John Deere zero turn lawnmower.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Mary Ann; two children, Perry Westbrook and Julie Sopha; three grandchildren, John Hux, Luke (Kari) Hux and Kaley (Robert) Hilla; great grandson, Lucas Hilla; sister, Billie (Ron) Sample; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, Larry and Verna Morrish. He was preceded in death by his brother, Gerald Westbrook; and sister, Marjorie Westbrook. Burial will be in Caswell Cemetery, Port Huron Township.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 17, 2025 in First Church of the Nazarene, Port Huron. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. The Reverend Bud Freed and Reverend Keith Sparks will officiate. Military honors will be conducted by the U.S. Army.
