Deborah Lee Yorke

Deborah Lee Yorke, 62, of Port Huron died Wednesday, May 14, 2025 in McLaren Macomb Hospital after a long illness.

Debbie was born June 22, 1962 in Port Huron. She graduated from Port Huron High School in 1980 and studied nursing at St. Clair County Community College, where she became a Registered Nurse. She spent 35 years at Port Huron Hospital, finishing in the Karmanos Cancer program. She later worked at Ascension Home Care. Debbie was a member of several scrapbooking clubs and was an avid reader. She attended First United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her mother, Shirley Yorke of Port Huron; several cousins in the U.S. and Canada, including Ed & Sharon Corry and their children; and dear friends, Kris & Amy Crumpley, all of Port Huron. She was preceded in death by her father, Richard “Dick” Yorke on January 13, 2014, and several aunts & uncles.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 22, 2025 in First United Methodist Church. Pastor Drew Hart will officiate. Committal will be in Lakeside Cemetery Columbarium.
